A year doesn’t change all at once

It moves through seasons of withdrawal, new beginnings, abundance and release.
We, too, experience such phases –
yet in our day-to-day lives we often give ourselves too little space to notice them.

This is why we have developed ‘The Inner Seasons’ Retreat

Four guided online retreats during which you will have the opportunity to become more aware of your body and your needs,
and discover what supports you best during your own inner seasonal changes.
You can start with a single season or be guided through the year-long program.

Yoga. Meditation. Nutrition. Personal Reflection.

A woven network of interconnectedness.

How we support you

Each ‘inner season’ retreat combines movement and body awareness practices with seasonal eating, embodied stillness meditation and reflection.
Fiona and Elina melt together their diverse expertise, which complement one another across the four retreats.

Body

Body awareness through
yoga & stillness practices

Nutrition

Seasonal eating & practical
TCM advice for everyday life

Awareness

Meditation & inspiring
Impulses for reflection

This is how, step by step, you develop a deeper connection with yourself.

Two perspectives. One shared space.

We have developed the ‘inner seasons’ because change does not just take place in the mind.
It manifests itself in the way we move, eat, interact, find stillness and structure our daily lives.

Fiona brings her many years of yoga experience and an open-minded approach to each unique body-type and varying life paths.
She leads the yoga sessions mainly in English.

Elina combines TCM nutrition with self-awareness and coaching.
Her sessions on nutrition and self-awareness are mainly held in German.

Together, we’ll guide you through the four seasonal qualities of the year, with tangible, practical impulses that you can integrate into your daily life.

Fiona Hayhoe-Weiland

"Yoga has been a way of life for me for 30 years now.
My wide-ranging experiences have led me to create a ‘melting pot’ of different practices, which I love to draw upon to support people on their life journey and meet them where they are right now.
This programme is one of those very special occasions where my aim is to incorporate unique yoga practices into the ‘Inner Seasons’ journey, from which you can draw fresh inspiration year after year."

Elina Steiner

"For me, nutrition is never just a matter of recipes and rules.
In my work as a TCM nutritionist and coach, I’m interested in how you live, what nourishes you and what your body is telling you. I listen, ask questions and offer suggestions that fit into your everyday life. Through the inner seasons, I’d like to support you in gaining a clearer sense of yourself – and in trusting your own decisions more once again."

Your journey through the seasons

Each season has its own unique quality – and invites you, in its own special way, to reconnect with yourself.
You can experience each retreat individually or opt for the full year-long journey.

The five elements of TCM provide a thematic framework for our annual journey:
In winter, water symbolises tranquillity
In spring, wood symbolises growth
In summer, fire symbolises connection
In autumn, we combine earth and metal: nourishing, honouring and letting go.

You can experience each retreat individually or opt for the entire annual journey.

Seva project

In Yoga, SEVA (Say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service - how can we serve others and give back to society. Through my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to give back to my childhood community in a small and meaningful way. Since I grew up in South Africa, this is where my heart lies in an attempt to empower young children in the Lidgetton community where it is often challenging to have hope and see the light. Our small Angel Ruth’s Soup Kitchen is a space where the children can go for a warm meal, as well as to a space where they know they are safe and cared for, can play freely and learn.

I offer a percentage of my teaching earnings back into this community, knowing that is is well used and goes directly to the source. To support the growing needs in the Lidgetton community, we set-up Lucky Beans e.V. in Germany in 2015. Through our charity status we are able to offer the possibility of EU citizens receiving a tax reclamation from any donation you may wish to make.
