Vitality is not only evident
in the great moments.

Sometimes it’s very subtle: in an open conversation, a movement that feels free, a meal that truly nourishes you, or a moment when you’re completely at ease with yourself.

And sometimes you only realise how much you’ve missed this sense of vitality when something inside you becomes warmer, more expansive and lighter once more.

Summer draws life outwards. Nature reveals itself in all its abundance; colours become more vibrant, blossoms open, and everything comes into sharper focus. Within us, too, this time of year can awaken a longing to feel more alive and connected once more.

Joy of the Heart invites you to notice:

What makes you feel expansive and alive inside?
Where do you hold back your joy or your self-expression?
With whom or what do you feel a genuine connection?
How much space do you give to the things that touch your heart?

It’s not about being happy or full of energy all the time.
It’s about embracing your joy as an integral and essential part of you.

Joy is not the opposite of seriousness.
It allows you to witness what connects you to life.

Time to open yourself
up to life again

VITALITY
Can you be aware of what touches
your heart and makes you feel alive?

CONNECTION
Can you treat yourself and
others with heartfelt openness?

JOY
Can you give space to what lies within you
that longs to be seen and experienced as joy?

Between inner warmth and vibrant expression.

Joy of the heart is linked to the quality of the FIRE ELEMENT.
It represents warmth, joy, connection and the ability to express ourselves openly and vibrantly.

In summer, nature’s energy reaches its peak. Blossoms open, colours come to life and life bursts forth. The fire element within us, too, seeks connection: with ourselves, with other people and with what gives our lives meaning.

However, joy of the heart does not mean always being in a good mood or ignoring difficulties. Rather, it arises when you are aware of yourself, allow yourself to be moved, and give expression to what is truly present in you, and important.

The element of fire invites you to tune in more closely:
What warms your heart?
Where, with what and with whom do you feel connected?
What would you like to show, say or experience more fully again?

Joy doesn’t have to be loud. It deserves to take up a tangible place in your life once again.

Three weeks just for you.

From 30 May to 20 June (3 weeks), you’ll be guided through regular, seasonally appropriate yoga and meditation sessions, group meetings, nourishing nutritional tips and time for personal reflection and integration.

The ‘Joy of the Heart’ retreat lasts three weeks and follows the format of the 21-day yoga challenge, complemented by Elina’s nutritional tips.
You can book the yoga part of this season separately.

With Fiona, you’ll explore the quality of fire through an evolving, energizing yoga flow - feeling vitality and joy through powerful moving. This will be balanced by embodied stillness & somatic practices which give the allowance to witness what is present, experiencing your inner life and allowing self-expression more space.

With Elina, you’ll focus on how nutrition can support you well during this vibrant and energetic time. Colourful, wholesome and practical recipes will help you feel nourished and find joy in mindful eating.

The schedule provides a clear framework – without overloading your week.
If you’re unable to join us live, the recordings will be available in the members’ area.

Would you like to know when the yoga sessions and our group meetings take place?
You’ll find all the dates at a glance in the weekly schedule.

After these three weeks...

… you become more aware of
your aliveness.

… you realise where you’d like more
connection and expression.

… you give what touches your heart
more space in your everyday life.

… you embody in your own way
of expressing joy.

Vitality arises when you feel what moves your heart, and how you express your joy.

What would you like to take away from this time?

These three weeks are an invitation to not only try new things, but also to relive and experience them repeatedly.
To be active, to pause for a moment, to eat differently and to realise what truly serves you.
There is nothing to prove.
What matters is what resonates with your body and heart, and what you wish to integrate into your daily life.

Feel. Move. Connect. Embrace what resonates.

Seva project

In Yoga, SEVA (Say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service - how can we serve others and give back to society. Through my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to give back to my childhood community in a small and meaningful way. Since I grew up in South Africa, this is where my heart lies in an attempt to empower young children in the Lidgetton community where it is often challenging to have hope and see the light. Our small Angel Ruth’s Soup Kitchen is a space where the children can go for a warm meal, as well as to a space where they know they are safe and cared for, can play freely and learn.

I offer a percentage of my teaching earnings back into this community, knowing that is is well used and goes directly to the source. To support the growing needs in the Lidgetton community, we set-up Lucky Beans e.V. in Germany in 2015. Through our charity status we are able to offer the possibility of EU citizens receiving a tax reclamation from any donation you may wish to make.
